I must say I was a little worried when I got in my car to go photograph the wedding on Saturday and it started to snow! However, luck was with us and we hit perfect weather all the way through the day. We started with some formal photos at Heritage park in Mission, the valley view was clear and the sun was shinning. Then we drove over to Whonnock Lake and snow was falling, but of course looking beautiful. I discovered it is very challenging to photograph while the snow is falling because the snow gets in the way, I got big snowy blotches all over my subjects faces. But once again, luck was with us, the snow stopped falling and the whole lake was lit up with beautiful light! My assistant (Pete, the best man) commented, "Man this is like a Robert Bateman painting, it is so amazing!"
